BronxWorks, a nonprofit that provides social services in the South Bronx, has honored L+M Development and Debra Kenyon, L+M's COO, for their contributions to the community. Under Kenyon's leadership, L+M donated two rooms at 500 E. 165th Street to BronxWorks for an after-school center for the children of tenants of the building.

Pennoni Associates, Haddon Heights, N.J., has hired Thomas Dancsecs as a senior engineer in its transportation division. He previously worked as Buchart Horn Inc.'s roadway department manager.

Skanska USA Civil has promoted John Crecco and John Sullivan from project executives to vice presidents of field operations. In their new roles, Sullivan and Crecco will oversee, assist and advise on field operations for Skanska's civil projects in the Northeast. The new responsibilities are in addition to their existing duties, which for Crecco involve operational oversight of large pursuits. Sullivan will continue as the Northeast general superintendent responsible for company-wide craft union placements and will assist and advise on field operations and issues related to the General Contractors Association. Sullivan will also oversee the operations of the Moynihan Station project in Manhattan.

The New Jersey Alliance for Action, Edison, N.J., has recognized the Route 3 Passaic River Crossing project of Dewberry, New York, with the New Jersey Leading Transportation Project Award.
