Dennis Jones was promoted to the position of Central Florida business development and estimating manager at Tri-City Electrical Contractors, Altamonte Springs, Fla. He is a 23-year veteran of Tri-City. The company also promoted Bruce Haefner to commercial senior estimator. Haefner joined Tri-City in 1998 and has more than 19 years of commercial contracting experience.
Richard Cannone has joined the Fort Lauderdale, Fla., office of consulting firm Calvin, Giordano & Associates as planning administrator. Cannone was formerly the city manager of Clairton, Pa., and has worked with the Florida cities of Hallandale Beach, Coral Gables and Largo.
Paul Inglese was promoted to the role of sales and business development for Metromont Corp., a precast/prestressed concrete company, in Bartow, Fla. Metromont also promoted 20-year company veteran Tony Smith to the position of director of estimating in its Charlotte, N.C., office.

Jess Burns has joined Choate Construction Co. in Atlanta as a senior preconstruction manager. Burns has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Previous positions he has held include director of preconstruction and vice president/chief estimator.
Dean Warhaft has been hired as a development officer for Florida East Coast Realty, Miami, where he will manage such projects as the Mikado Sonesta Hotel & Residences. Warhaft previously founded Accurate Construction Survey Corp.
