ROTH
Steven Roth is a new project executive for KM/Plaza Construction in Miami. Roth has more than 25 years of construction industry experience. Robert Fish is also a new project executive for KM/Plaza. He has more than 18 years of industry experience.

Joshua Salazar has joined HDR in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., as a project manager. He is working in the field of transportation planning and project development. A professional engineer, Salazar previously served for seven years with the Florida Dept. of Transportation's District 4.

 

HAMES
Fred Hames was recently named general manager and executive vice president for Skanska USA Building's Florida operations in Tampa. Hames joined Skanska in 1998. He has been involved with the health-care, life sciences and academic medical center project sectors.

John Cammack, Skanska USA Building's general manager for Florida for the past 10 years, became the firm's Southeast regional operations manager. Skanska is creating positions for regional operations managers throughout the company. In his new position, Cammack will focus on promoting innovation and facilitating communication between offices.

Matt Gilbert was named senior vice president-account manager for Florida by Skanska USA Building, Orlando. Gilbert, previously a vice president, will focus on growing the firm's work in the Central Florida, Gainesville and Jacksonville markets.

 

STEPHAN
Roger Stephan was promoted to senior vice president/account manager for Skanska USA Building's Florida operations in Tampa. A 13-year company veteran, Stephan previously served as vice president for health care. Stephan will manage the Tampa office and focus on growing work in the Tampa Bay area and southwest Florida.

Stellar, a construction, engineering and mechanical services firm in Jacksonville, Fla., announced numerous promotions recently. Scott Mark was promoted from division manager to vice president for the food and beverage services operations unit. Michael Polczynski was promoted from director of field services to vice president of field services. Clint Pyle was promoted from director of finance to vice president of finance. In the commercial division, John Bowles was named senior project manager and Josh Barth, project manager. In the food and beverage unit, Matt Doherty was named senior project manager and Nathan Edwards, project manager. Lauren Hedberg was promoted to procurement analyst and Jim Martini was named senior automation engineer.

 

SUDDUTH
Brian Sudduth was promoted to the position of senior vice president for Miller Construction Co., Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Sudduth previously served as the firm's vice president for preconstruction.

Also, Jeff Slade was named Miller's vice president and operations manager, where he will focus on client relationships, strategic planning and talent recruitment.

Chris Hannaka, a Miller 10-year-plus veteran, was promoted from project manager to project executive.

John Critchfield was named senior project engineer in the Miami office of Parsons Brinckerhoff, where he will be responsible for managing construction engineering and inspection of underground works for the Port of Miami Tunnel project. He has more than 36 years of experience in geotechnical and underground engineering.
