SAUNDERS
Leslie Saunders has joined the Atlanta office of Leo A Daly as health care market leader. Saunders, with 30 years of architecture and planning experience, previously worked as a senior health care planner for Flad Architects and as a senior medical planner for HKS Inc. He also spent five years as director of capital planning and space management at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.

Jacksonville, Fla.-based architect-engineer RS&H announced the promotion of David Sweeney to chief operations officer as of Jan. 1. Sweeney succeeds COO David Roberson, who is retiring at the end of the year.

Lisa Robert, who was promoted to the position of senior vice president, will assume Sweeney's former position. Robert, who joined RS&H in 2010, currently serves as vice president of transportation, a position she has held since 2011.

 

WILSON
Wade Wilson has been promoted to vice president for Moss & Associates, a construction manager. He has been with the Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based company since 2004. Previously, Wilson worked as a project executive.

Sims Crane & Equipment Co., Tampa, has named Mark Hollister senior vice president of business development. He formerly served as a senior vice president with Norco, a manufacturer of attachments.

 

WALSH
Martin Walsh has been promoted to vice president for mission-critical projects at the Charlotte office of Balfour Beatty Construction. Walsh, who has 17 years of industry experience, will provide support for Balfour Beatty's national efforts related to data centers and other facilities that require continuous, uninterrupted operation. He joined the firm in 2012.

Karen Somerder has been named senior supervising engineer for Parsons Brinckerhoff, Tampa, where she will focus on port and marine projects. Somerder, who has more than 20 years of industry experience, previously worked as a project manager for CH2M Hill.

In PB's Atlanta office, Mike Holt has been named senior engineering manager. He will be responsible for developing the firm's intelligent transportation systems and traffic engineering practice in Georgia and will assist with other ITS pursuits across the Southeast.

 

WOODS
Brian Woods has been named business development manager for the Charlotte regional office of Gray, an engineering, architecture and construction firm based in Lexington, Ky. Woods, who has 13 years of business development experience, will act as the firm's primary contact for the automotive market.

David Cyr, president of Parrish Construction Group, has been elected president of the Associated General Contractors of Georgia. Other new officers include: Randall Redding of R.K. Redding Construction, vice president; Trey Anderson, Anderson Construction Co., secretary; and Randy Hall, Batson-Cook Co., treasurer.

 

PRICE
Matthew Price has joined HNTB Corp.'s Lake Mary office as Central Florida regional leader of construction services. Price is responsible for growing the company's construction engineering and inspection services work. He most recently served as a construction engineer for Florida's Turnpike Enterprise.

Also, Roger Khouri has joined HNTB's Miami office as the regional leader for the structures practice. Khouri has 27 years of bridge design experience and most recently served as lead engineer for the design of the above-ground structures on the Port of Miami Tunnel project for the Florida Dept. of Transportation.

The Atlanta office of Gilbane Building Co. has hired Bobby Osburn as senior project executive for health care projects. Osburn has more than 25 years of industry experience.

Brian Denisar has joined the South Florida office of HITT Contracting in Davie, Fla., as senior vice president. Denisar will focus on the corporate interiors market.

Joe Ramsey has joined Choate Construction Co.'s Charleston, S.C., office as director of operations. He has 35 years of industry experience.

Jonathan Wolk has been hired as director of business development and marketing in Choate's Raleigh office. Wolk previously worked in business development at Weaver Cooke Construction.

Tom Montgomery has joined professional services firm NV 5 Holdings, Hollywood, Fla., as principal engineer following its acquisition of the Tampa division of transportation and environmental engineer Pitman-Hartenstein & Associates.
