Wayne Wright has joined engineering firm McKim & Creed's Clearwater, Fla., office as a senior project manager for instrumentation and controls. A 30-year industry veteran, Wright most recently worked for NextEra Energy, where he managed electrical and I&C issues related to wind farms and solar facility projects.

Shepart Hockaday was promoted to vice president of mechanical, electrical and plumbing services for Dewberry's Raleigh and Chapel Hill, N.C., offices. He has more than 20 years of global experience managing engineering teams.

Also, Robert Wolff, with more than 25 years of industry experience, was promoted to senior associate in Dewberry's Chapel Hill office. In Raleigh, Emmett Simons was promoted to the position of associate.

Danielle Cole, a partner in the Atlanta office of law firm Peckar & Abramson, was appointed chair of the international construction division of the American Bar Association's Forum on the Construction Industry.

Ashley Dale has joined Evergreen Construction, Atlanta, as director of business development. She has 15 years of industry experience.

Randy Allen has joined the Raleigh office of Danis as a project manager. Allen previously worked for Atlanta-based Holder Construction.

Tom Borgia was promoted to the position of chief financial officer at J. Raymond Construction Corp., Longwood, Fla. Borgia, who has been with the firm since 2007, most recently served as controller.
