He has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry and nine years of experience in commercial HVAC estimating His experience includes preparing cost estimates and bid proposals for plan and spec bids and for preliminary budgets for all types of commercial projects including education, healthcare, office, industrial and retail.

senior vice president of the water services team at McCarthy Building Cos., Tempe, Ariz., has been named to the board of advisers for the Construction Industry Institute, a consortium of more than 100 leading owners and builders based at the University of Texas in Austin. Scopetti will assist with CII's vision to enhance the business effectiveness and sustainability of the capital facility life cycle through research, related initiatives and industry alliances. Scopetti holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Penn State University as well as a bachelor's degree in business administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.was promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer at Sundt Construction in Tucson, Ariz., where he will oversee the accounting, finance, treasury and risk management areas while serving as chairman of the finance committee. An employee of Sundt since 1998, Burnett has served as vice president, controller and then as senior vice president of acquisitions and investments.
