Jeff Wood
Project director leaves imprint on key Las Vegas projects
35, Project Director
McCarthy Building Cos.
Henderson, Nev.
In his 12-year career, Jeff Wood has been responsible for more than $7 billion of construction for three different employers - all before turning 35. In just his first three years with current employer McCarthy Building Cos., Wood has already been entrusted with some of the firm's biggest projects, including the completion of the Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas, the largest build-out within The LINQ master-plan development, as well as Hakkasan Las Vegas in the MGM Grand, which required putting in place nearly $100 million of work in one year. A key tool in Wood's arsenal is his experience on both sides of a building project. Prior to joining McCarthy, he had worked as an owner's representative on the construction of a large hotel in Las Vegas, giving him keen insight into the owner's perspective.
