Balfour Beatty Construction announced several promotions. Jacqueline Chen has joined Balfour Beatty as vice president of corporate brand and communications. Most recently, she was senior vice president of marketing and communications for Amedisys.
Rana Severs has been promoted to vice president of marketing for Balfour Beatty's Texas and Nashville locations.
Juan Rodriquez has been promoted to regional vice president of operations for the company's central region.
Corinna Holt Richter and Peter J. Holt have been named sales-related vice presidents at HOLT CAT. They were both general managers and are descendants of Benjamin Holt, who developed the first track-type tractor that he named the Caterpillar in 1904.
Justin Jeffus has been promoted from director of retail services to vice president of retail services at MYCON.
Nazir Khalfe has been promoted to principal at Powers Brown Architecture of Texas. Khalfe, a native of Birmingham, England, joined the firm in 2001 and has spent more than 10 years as a project manager.
John Kisner has been promoted from director to principal of Lord Aeck Sargent's Texas office. He joined the firm in 2008, relocating from Atlanta in late 2011 to become associate director of the Austin office. He became office director in 2013.
Perkins+Will has announced promotions at its Dallas and Houston offices.
Dallas office promotions include: Ron Stelmarski to principal; Amy Biediger to associate principal; Julie Frazier and Robert Ting to senior associate; Charles Brant, Cody Cartusciello, Laura Crawford, Lecia Mavros, Tommy Osborne, Tiffany Sutton and Zach Wideman to associate. In Houston, promotions include: Jason Chan to associate principal; Gerald van Benschop to senior associate; and Hunter Nezat to project architect.
Brian Luney has joined McCarthy Building Cos. as project director in the Houston office. Before joining McCarthy, Luney worked as a project director for Rogers-O'Brien Construction in Dallas.
