Skanska USA Building, Houston, completed Texas A&M University's Agriculture Headquarters in College Station, Texas, a month ahead of schedule and on budget. The $49-million, BIM-facilitated project includes two structures: the five-story, 170,000-sq-ft Headquarters Building and a two-story, 12,500-sq-ft Visitors Center. Building components include native limestone, face brick, window curtain wall and metal panels. The project included an irrigation collection system comprising a three-story metal canopy with four above-ground 10,000-gallon cisterns and a 40,000-gallon underground tank for collecting rainwater.
