Coakley & Williams Construction of Gaithersburg, Md., was awarded a contract for the historical restoration of the dome at the Maryland State House in Annapolis.
The State House was built in the 1770s and its signature dome is the oldest and largest wooden dome of its kind in the United States. Coakley & Williams recently performed a complete mechanical system replacement and renovations to the governor’s suite in the State House under a separate contract.
