Condon-Johnson & Associates (CJA), Oakland, was recently named the recipient of the ADSC: The International Association of Foundation Drilling�s 2011 Quality in Drilled Shaft Construction Award.
This honor is presented annually to an ADSC contractor that has demonstrated the highest level of quality control and quality assurance in all of its drilled shaft construction projects, according to the association. The award, presented at the ADSC�s 2011 annual meeting, was created by Loadtest Inc., Gainesville, Fla. and carries with it a $10,000 cash prize that is presented by Loadtest to the association�s Industry Advancement Research and Scholarship Fund in the name of the recipient.
In presenting the award Loadtest President Jack Hayes notes that CJA �embodies the intent of this award at the highest level.�
The company, with headquarters in Oakland, was founded in 1972 and has approximately 250 employees. Additional offices are in Los Angeles, San Diego and Seattle. The firm undertakes work in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and British Columbia.
The award it received focuses on CJA�s work in the area of drilled shaft construction, which it considers to be one of its core competencies.
