Submitted by Hogan & Associates Construction

The city of Evanston selected Hogan & Associates to act as the CM/GC for the Roundhouse and Rail Yards restoration and adaptive re-use project. Located on 27 acres next to the historic Main Street area of downtown Evanston, the main component of this project is the phased restoration of the 64,000-sq-ft roundhouse, built in 1912. Section one transformed a section of the building into a meeting and events space to support and expand the capabilities of the adjacent multi-purpose Machine Shop Event Center, which was completed in 2004. In the short time since the completion of Phase I, the city of Evanston has been able to schedule three conferences that could not have been held in the community had Section One not been completed.
