Interstate 80 State Street to 1300 EastSubmitted by Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction Co.
Construction on this project greatly improved safety and efficiency along the two-mile Interstate 80 corridor from State Street to 1300 East in Utah.

As part of this project, an additional eastbound and westbound general purpose lane was added, bringing the total to four lanes in each direction, an eastbound and westbound auxiliary lane now connects the ramps between interchanges, the interchanges at State Street, 700 East and 1300 South were improved, and the bridges at State, 300 East, 500 East, 600 East, 700 East, 900 East and Highland Drive were replaced using advanced bridge construction technology.

In addition, a freeway sound barrier was erected along the length of the project.
