Three of the passing lane sections are for westbound traffic, while the other two are for eastbound traffic.

Construction will get under way late this fall in West Texas on a $2.2-million safety improvement project to add five 1.5- to 2-mi sections of passing lanes to the two-lane SH 302 between Notrees and Kermit.
