McKinney’s Greenhaven multifamily community received Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Homes Silver certification. Awarded to the first completed building at the property, Greenhaven will be the first multifamily garden community in Texas to be distinguished as a LEED-certified facility by the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED for Homes Green Building Rating System. The project was developed by Dallas-based Fore Property Co.

Construction on Greenhaven began in early 2009. Leasing has met expectations and residents have started moving in.
