Byron-HaseldenByron Haselden is the new CEO and president of Haselden Construction, Centennial, Colo. He assumes the role from his older brother, Ed Haselden. Byron now manages all day-to-day operations of the company, as well as guiding its strategic direction.
 

David-PetersonMcCarthy Building Cos. Inc. recently named Dr. David Peterson vice president of operations for education services in the company’s Southwest division. The Southwest Education Services team focuses on construction and renovation projects for K-12 schools and community colleges in Colorado, Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico.
 

Three AIA Colorado members have been elevated to the association’s College of Fellows. They are Paul C. Hutton, chief sustainability officer, Cuningham Group Architecture, Denver; Ned Kirschbaum, principal and director of technical design, Fentress Architects, Denver; and Andy Nielsen, principal, AndersonMasonDale Architects, Denver. They will be honored at an investiture ceremony at the 2016 National AIA Convention in Philadelphia in May.
 

Dave-LovatoMartin/Martin Inc., Lakewood, Colo., has promoted three associates to principal. David Lovato is a civil engineer Mark-Thornbroughwho works on land and site development, public works and roadway projects. Civil engineer Mark Thornbrough specializes in land development, major drainage and public-sector projects. Structural engineer Emily-GuglielmoEmily Guglielmo manages the firm’s San Francisco Bay Area office.

The company also promoted three engineers to associates: Lakewood-based structural engineers Tonya Major and Charlie McLean and, from the firm’s Cheyenne office, Derek Swanson.
 

Shen Milsom & Wilke has appointed Tom Shen as the firm’s president and CEO. He succeeds Fred Shen, who will retain his title as founder and chairman of the board.
 

Scott-HougardKumar & Associates Inc. has promoted Scott Hougard to associate principal. He will continue to work as manager of construction services for the engineering firm’s Denver office.
 

International design firm Cuningham Group Architecture Inc. has promoted three employees in its Denver office. Erik Okland has been promoted to associate principal, and Morayma Salas and Sukreet Singh have been promoted to associate.
 

Scott-FarrellDenver-based general contractor i2 Construction has promoted Scott Farrell to president. Company founder and former president Allan Fries now serves as chief executive officer.
 

JVA Inc. has promoted Craig Kobe to principal, Kevin Vecchiarelli to senior associate and Ian Glaser, Brian Campbell and Andrew Sparn to associate.
 

Rowland+Broughton Architecture/Urban Design/Interior Design has added three new team members to its Aspen studio. Kurt Peterson and Derek Keil join the firm as project architects, and Jan Pfeifer will work as an accountant.
 

Donna Smith, VP of business development at The Neenan Co., was appointed to the board of directors for Transit Alliance.
