Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam Inc. has promoted Warren Green to chief technical officer. Previously, Green worked as director of one of LAN’s infrastructure business groups. The company also hired Joseph Scarborough as a project manager. Scarborough had served as a project manager/group lead for various high-profile multidisciplinary engineering firms in Houston.
Allied Orion Group has named Ian P. Douglas chief operating officer of its property management division. Douglas previously worked as an area vice president for Morgan Properties.
Skanska USA has promoted Marty Massey to senior vice president of operations for the Texas region. Massey joined BFW, which was acquired by Skanska in 2001, more than 35 years ago. Skanska also announced new hires and promotions at its Dallas office. Daniel Mortimer has been hired as general superintendent for the $94-million Irving Music Factory project. He previously worked for Brasfield & Gorrie as a senior superintendent. Todd Reeves has joined the firm as project executive for the Dallas office. Reeves previously worked at Skanska for 11 years, then returned after a short stint at Balfour Beatty. Amie Kromis O’Riley has been promoted to diversity and inclusion manager for the Texas region, while Bryan James has been promoted to preconstruction manager.
AECOM has announced three new hires for its Gulf/Southwest region operations. Richard Stockton has joined the company as transportation business unit leader for the Gulf Coast area. Matt Garcia joins the water business line as director for business development in the firm’s Dallas office. Based in Fort Worth, T. Craig Morgan is a new associate vice president for freight rail/economic development.
Cadence McShane Construction Co. has announced that Steven A. Levy has joined the firm as vice president of education. Levy previously worked as vice president of operations at Balfour Beatty Construction.
MYCON General Contractors has announced the promotions of six employees. Lou Arrieta has been named chief estimator. He joined MYCON in 2010. Al Arjona has been appointed to senior superintendent. Kyle Gallagher has been promoted to senior project engineer. The firm also promoted Ryan Stoll to senior project manager and Hayden Tuley to project manager. Michael Williams has been promoted to director of preconstruction.
Doug Williams has joined LEO A DALY as senior associate and director of digital practice. He joins the firm from Perkins + Will, where he was senior associate, digital practice manager.

Slack & Co. Contracting Inc. has promoted Julio Gaviria to chief estimator. He joined the firm in March 2015 as a senior estimator.
Freese and Nichols has announced several new hires. Mark Graves has joined the firm as a senior project manager of the water treatment and reuse team in Austin, Texas. Robert Sutton was named a senior project manager for the Southeast Texas transportation team in Pearland. Edra Brashear and David Rivera were named senior stormwater project managers in Dallas. Wayne Hartt has joined the firm’s Frisco office to lead transportation efforts in Collin County.
James Wheeler has joined American Technologies Inc. as Southern regional manager. He previously worked at Safeco/Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. as vice president of commercial property claims.

Braun Intertec has announced several new hires. Mitch Bernhard, based out of Tyler, Texas, was named general counsel. Previously, he was the owner of Apex Geoscience, now a division of Braun Intertec. John Styron was hired as a senior engineer. Styron is based out of the firm’s San Antonio office and was previously regional manager for Alpha Testing Inc. Donny Rhea joined the firm as an operations supervisor for the firm’s Texarkana office.
Ben Johanneman, vice president of operations at McCarthy Building Cos., has been elected to serve on the board of directors for the Rice Design Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of architecture, urban design and the built environment in the Houston region. Johanneman is new to the board and will serve from June 2016 through May 2019.
