Conte expects change in Wilmington’s political atmosphere after the Nov. 8 elections. He says the change “will most assuredly have an effect upon both residential and commercial development and construction.” He says development, design and construction firms would welcome new programs to address jobs, promote development and attract new businesses. He says a new administration will alter the construction industry, adding that though “federal changes may be slow in coming, they may likely have a profound effect upon the local business climate.”
