Fortis Construction has begun work on the first phase in Facebook’s Las Lunas Data Center. The first phase will include a $250-million, 510,000-sq-ft, single-story, structural steel facility powered by renewable energy that is expected to be completed in 2018. The Washoe County Regional Transportation Commission is currently reviewing general contractor bids for Fourth Street and Prater Way bus rapid transit improvements in Reno. Clark County is currently reviewing bids for roadway, utility and storm drain improvements on Las Vegas Boulevard between St. Rose Parkway and Silverado Ranch Boulevard.
