Richard Small is Bond’s new chief financial officer in Boston. Small specializes in accounting, strategy development and implementation, contracts, procurement and business administration. Previously, Small served as CFO for Cambridge, Mass., research firm Abt Associates.
Andrew Blaisdell was promoted to associate principal in GZA’s Portland, Maine, office. Blaisdell, who joined GZA in 2010, is responsible for overseeing geotechnical design and construction projects. He specializes in geotechnical engineering, foundation design, seismic design, rock slope evaluation and mitigation, soil slope stability and earthworks.
WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff has promoted four people within its Boston building systems practice, including Robert Goossens to senior vice president, Jeremy Pinkham to vice president, Melissa Sierra to senior associate and Thomas Weiss to associate. Goossens is responsible for the commissioning department’s 18-member staff. Pinkham has managed some of the mechanical department’s largest projects. Sierra will lead the electrical department. Weiss has served as mechanical engineer on several residential projects.
Burns & McDonnell has named Tarkan Yuksel a principal in its New England office. Yuksel oversees all project controls operations and staffing needs for the region. He has 16 years of management experience.
