HOK has named Anne Fletcher managing principal of its Los Angeles office. Fletcher has been a senior project manager in HOK’s New York office since 2014. She also has been promoted to senior vice president and appointed to HOK’s board of directors.

James Lee Witt was appointed executive director of Rebuild North Bay, a nonprofit launched to coordinate wildfire recovery efforts in Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino, Lake and Solano counties in California. Witt, a former CEO of the International Code Council, was the director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency during the Clinton administration.

Joe Dennis has joined Surface Tech in San Diego as director of the asphalt division in North America. He has nearly 30 years of technical expertise in the construction industry, with positions at CBC Engineers & Associates and CONTECH.

Michael Baker International has promoted Michael J. Conaboy to regional director for the firm’s West region. Conaboy will be based in the firm’s Santa Ana, Calif., office. He succeeds Anna Lantin, who will transition to the newly created role of senior vice president of business development.

PBK Architects has named Gary Gery as principal at the Sacramento office. Gery has more than 34 years of experience, specializing in K-12 school design. His current major projects include the Christian Brothers High School sports complex and modernizations for Plumas USD and Santa Rosa USD.
