GE Johnson Construction Co. has hired Todd Reynolds and Michael Conley as construction executives. Reynolds is an expert in integrated project delivery. Conley’s recent portfolio includes hospital and correctional facility work, residential complexes, and education and advanced-tech projects, among others.
Chris Martinez is the new executive director at the Hispanic Contractors of Colorado. Martinez will fill the vacancy created by HCC’s outgoing executive director, Helga Grunerud, who is retiring at the end of the year.
Nicole Cecil, an interior designer at Boise’s CSHQA, recently received an interior design award from ASID for the Pioneer Federal Credit Union Broadway project.
CFC Construction has named Orville Hinerman as its new president. He has worked in the Colorado construction market for 31 years and led the design-build delivery of multifamily projects for a national development group.
JVA Inc. has named Kevin Tone as its new president. Tone joined JVA in 1999 to launch the firm’s civil and environmental engineering practices. Tom S. Soell becomes JVA’s immediate past president and vice president-director of structural engineering.
BHB Structural project engineer Andrew Van Hook has been awarded the 2017 Fresh Face of Engineering Award from the Structural Engineers Association of Utah. The award recognizes professional achievement among the state’s structural engineers.
Tony Burke has been named president of Pinkard Construction Co., and Jeff Barnes has been named the firm’s new chief operating officer. Burke started with the company in 1999 as a project engineer and moved through the ranks. He also has led Pinkard’s senior-living, municipal and health-care groups.
Barnes joined Pinkard Construction in 2000, after working with other commercial contractors in Colorado and Arizona.
Pinkard also hired Mark Bokhoven as its new director of preconstruction. He has served as the company’s senior preconstruction manager, lead project estimator and a project engineer.
Dale Young and Adam Wildeman have joined the firm as superintendents.
Ulteig has promoted Hossein Tabrizi to chief engineering and technical officer and Sarah Beckman to market director, power.
Kumar & Associates Inc. has added Mark Selman to the firm’s environmental services department. Selman will manage its services for all six of K+A’s offices.
CD Specialty Contractors has hired Earl McJunkin as business development manager and Dan Self as director of safety.
Hord Coplan Macht has added Tina L. Du Mond as senior health-care architect. She will collaborate with Principal Mary Morissette to expand the firm’s health-care practice in Denver.
