University of California San Francisco is requesting bids by April 18 for the construction of the 270,000-sq-ft UCSF Weill Neurosciences Building. The $175-million to $200-million project is a six-story building with wet and dry research labs on the same floors. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Los Angeles seeks bids by April 26 for the construction of  mental health inpatient and outpatient facilities at the VA Long Beach Medical Center in Long Beach.  The $100-million to $250-million project would build 78,000 sq ft of inpatient facilities and 80,000 sq ft of outpatient facilities, both two-story buildings.
