Daniel SolaDaniel Sola has been hired by SCS Engineers to serve as the Arizona and New Mexico project director. Sola, a hydrogeologist and project manager with more than 30 years of experience, will work in the firm’s Phoenix office, where he will handle project management, client service, business development and technical leadership. He previously served as vice president at a Phoenix environmental services firm and had been the lead hydrogeologist on the largest groundwater cleanup in the St. Paul, Minn., area.


Larry PobudaThe Opus Group has promoted Larry Pobuda to executive vice president and general manager at Opus Development Co. for Denver and Phoenix. Pobuda will oversee development and construction pursuits, active projects, market strategies and future growth. He has 26 years of development, investment, tenant representation and landlord experience.


Chris AnvikChris Anvik has been promoted to vice president of preconstruction for the water services team at McCarthy Building Cos. in Phoenix. Anvik will provide leadership for project teams during the design phase. He will also remain a member of the Water Design-Build Council. Anvik will supervise estimating, design management and procurement activities for McCarthy’s water and wastewater projects. Previously the chief estimator, Anvik has 12 years of experience in water and wastewater projects.


Teri JonesSundt Construction has named Teri Jones as president of the building group and Richard Keil as president of the industrial group, both in the Tempe, Ariz., office. Jones has nearly 40 years of experience in the construction industry. Her career with Sundt began in 2000 as a principal overseeing the Sacramento, Calif., region. Since that time, she has served as business development manager for California and then senior vice president and building group manager. Keil, who has 30 years of experience, joined Sundt in 2014 as senior vice president for the industrial group. His leadership for that group helped expand its customer base and increased revenue. Previously, he worked for several major national contractors throughout the South and Mid-Atlantic regions.


Pasanthi Vidyasagara has been named a principal for Burns & McDonnell. Now in her 17th year at the firm, Vidyasagara was also an electrical department and project manager. Her varied expertise includes generation engineering projects, government facilities renewables and infrastructure. Vidyasagara has played a role in recruiting efforts and trained junior engineering staff assigned to her.


Sam Anderson has been hired as an assistant superintendent for Skanska’s Phoenix office. In that role, Anderson will be responsible for the Banner Estrella and Banner Del Webb hospital projects. Previously, Anderson worked as an assistant superintendent for Pepper Construction in Indianapolis. He is also a first lieutenant in the Army National Guard, working as an executive officer for the 819th Engineer Co.


Robert TrujilloHines’ Phoenix office has hired Robert Trujillo as a managing director. Trujillo will expand Hines’ multifamily development business in Arizona and Colorado. He brings more than 21 years of experience in real estate development. He previously was vice president for Lennar Multifamily Communities, overseeing properties in Washington, D.C., and Phoenix.
