Conceptual design is underway for a Connecticut Dept. of Transportation parking garage at South State Street and Washington Boulevard in Stamford. The $50-million project would fit 960 cars. A design-bid-build project, the garage would consist of one eight-story, above-grade building. CHA Cos. (Clough Harbour & Associates) is the architect. The project is pending the owner’s decision to proceed. The schedule has not yet been determined. Raymour & Flanigan Furniture is planning a warehouse expansion in Manchester. The up to $15-million design-bid-build project includes a one-story building above grade. Tax incentives have been approved, and planning is in progress for the 200,000-sq-ft building. The project’s advancement is pending local approvals and the owner’s decision to proceed. Maine

Saxon Real Estate Partners has proposed an up to $25-million residential complex in Lewiston. The design-bid-build project would include three buildings, each four-plus stories above grade. Massachusetts

The Boston Chinese Evangelical Church is planning an up to $50-million project totaling 145,000 sq ft in Boston’s South End neighborhood. The 11-story above-grade structural steel building would include 72 residential units, a church, retail and a parking garage. The renovation/addition and/or new building would include approximately 2,000 sq ft of ground-floor retail space, a more than 72,000-sq-ft church/community center and 30 underground parking spaces. In January, the Massachusetts Dept. of Transportation will release a request for proposal for a $102-million rail bridge replacement project in Boston. Conceptual plans and abutter meetings are underway for Partners Properties LLC’s residential complex in Allston. Energy Development Partners is planning a 50-megawatt solar array in North Kingstown. The $50-million design-bid-build project is pending local approvals. The schedule is undetermined.
