Patricia Richters has joined HNTB Corp. as senior transportation planner in the Jacksonville, Fla., office, where she will be developing technical solutions and strategies for planning projects. Previously, she served as transportation planning supervisor for the Jacksonville Transportation Authority.
In Lake Mary, Fla., HNTB hired Tina Williamson as a senior planner. Williamson has more than 16 years of municipal planning experience, most recently serving as director of development services for Seminole County, Fla.
In Nashville, Robbie Hayes has joined the firm as a project manager and practice builder for the environmental planning group. He has more than 13 years of experience in transportation, environmental, transit and land use planning.
Dewberry named David Cooke as a senior project manager for transportation and land planning and development projects in its DeLand, Fla., office. Cooke has more than three decades of related experience.
The firm also hired Christian Volz as senior project manager for its Charlotte-area water practice.
David Tillar was hired as branch manager of Dewberry’s Pensacola, Fla., office.
TranSystems has promoted David Henry to assistant vice president and senior professional partner. Henry is the team leader for the Atlanta office’s roadway and survey teams and serves as project manager for numerous Georgia projects.
West Palm Beach-based Verdex Construction named Jeff Attanasio as chief operating officer. Attanasio, a 25-year construction veteran, will be charged with operational oversight and establishing staff training programs, among other duties. Additionally, Verdex hired Andrew Colb as chief financial officer.
Burns & McDonnell selected Rich Mahaley to lead its Orlando office. Mahaley, who joined the firm in the 1980s, most recently served as CEO and president of Burns & McDonnell India. In his new role, he will focus on growing the local team and expanding the firm’s full-service capabilities across the region.
Also in Orlando, the firm named Stacy Price regional construction/design-build group manager. Price has nearly three decades of related experience.
Burns & McDonnell also hired Randy Moorer to support federal projects in the Central Savannah River Area and across the Southeast. Moorer also will lead the firm’s new office in Aiken, S.C.
Hayward Baker Inc. announced it has promoted Jeremiah Filjones from senior project manager to division manager in Tampa. Filjones manages the firm’s Florida structural support division.
In addition, Philip Byrd was promoted to area manager for North Carolina, where he will manage and implement Hayward Baker’s business strategy.
Kelly Hopkins joined Stonemark Management of Atlanta as director of construction. He will oversee property renovations, value-add rehabs and other physical property related projects.
