Walter Tower is a 22-story inpatient bed tower and surgical hospital in the heart of Houston’s Medical Center that spans nearly 1 million sq ft.

Electrical and technology integration subcontractor Walker Engineering was heavily involved with design-assist innovations to better support Methodist’s existing facilities.

Among the team’s most significant achievements was the tie-in of the new paging system to the surrounding three existing buildings, making this the largest Bosch security and safety installation in North America. Walker’s installers and programmers were able to link the new building and unite all four buildings in a single 48-hour period.
