The Argyros Performing Arts Center sits in the heart of downtown Ketchum, replacing the former facility with a new flexible-use performance space that includes a main stage theater scalable up to 460 seats. The team demolished an existing structure and built a three-story building on a site that’s barely a quarter-acre in size. Precise coordination and management of trades and deliveries was essential, since crews had no laydown area and multiple trades were working at the same time. The team combined several exterior cladding materials, including wall panels imported from Denmark and Spain, in addition to zinc metal wall panels and exposed concrete. Daily and weekly communication with trades and outreach to neighboring businesses and the public kept the project running smoothly with zero incidents throughout construction.
