Serving as senior vice president, New York division leader, since 2012, the fifth-generation Gilbane more than doubled the New York division’s annual revenue during the past seven years.

 

Rich CavallaroGilbane also hired Rich Cavallaro, former president and CEO of Skanska USA Civil, as executive vice president leading the New York division, made up of the New York City, upstate New York and New Jersey business units as well as the New England division. During his tenure leading Skanska USA Civil, Cavallaro helped double the firm’s civil portfolio.

Grant Gagnier, who most recently served as head of operations, senior vice president, construction at Lendlease, is now Gilbane vice president and New York City business unit leader. Gagnier also was chief operating officer for Suffolk Construction’s New York region.

 

The Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey has elected new officers to its board of trustees. They are: chairman, Art Corwin of Railroad Construction Co.; vice chairman, Eric Jensen of Michael Riesz & Co.; treasurer, Jeff Waters of Waters & Bugbee Inc.; and secretary, Paul Natoli of Joseph A. Natoli Construction Corp. ACCNJ officers began serving Jan. 1, and their terms run through Dec. 31, 2021.

John Boulé IIJohn Boulé II, a senior vice president at Dewberry, has been named president of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) New York City Post. He had served in the U.S. Army from 1986 to 2012, attaining the rank of colonel before retiring, and from 2009 to 2012, he was commander of the New York District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Samantha GodinFuss & O’Neill hired Samantha Godin as a project manager in the firm’s industry and utilities business line based in Quincy, Mass. Kliment Halsband Associates, New York City, has promoted Adam Richards. Bradley Sherburne and K.C. Underwood to associate. Most recently, Richards was project architect for the renovation and addition of Orange, N.J., High School. Sherbourne was project manager on several school renovation projects and is a member of the American Institute of Architects’ New York chapter planning and urban design committee. Underwood has led teams to complete over 4 million sq ft of educational projects, including a Net Zero middle school. He was president of AIA North Carolina eastern section and was on the chapter’s board.

CHA Consulting Inc., the Albany, N.Y., consultant and construction management firm, says it has acquired CME Associates Inc., a transportation engineer based in Mansfield, Conn., with 85 employees in five offices and a focus on highway and bridge projects and expertise in accelerated bridge construction. No new CHA corporate titles for CME top executives were disclosed.
