ENR’s gathering to recognize the Best of the Best Projects winning teams is postponed to Aug. 4-5 due to the COVID-19 health emergency. They are set to join the ENR Top 25 Newsmakers to be recognized and celebrate excellence!
This package of stories on ENR.com and in print shares with readers today the 20 projects that have emerged on top from a field of more than 900 entrants after a competitive, two-stage elimination. Those recognized include an artful bridge that connects an underprivileged community in Chicago to the lakefront, a hospital that was built in extreme resilience to stay active especially in emergencies, a fire station that saves energy while firefighters save lives and teams that worked collaboratively to overcome all kinds of challenges.
Projects must convince judges in each of 10 regions that they excel. To be chosen Best of the Best, the 10 regional winners in each category competed before a new panel of industry expert judges. For more information, visit www.enrawardofexcellence.com.
