Jannine Miller joined HNTB Corp. as national practice consultant and vice president. Based in the firm’s Atlanta office, Miller provides strategic advisory services for clients nationwide, with a focus on transportation policy, finance and operations. Before joining HNTB, Miller served as senior adviser to U.S. Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao and as senior adviser for rural infrastructure to U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue. Her specialty areas include freight and logistics; intermodal connectivity; emerging technologies; transit planning; economic development; environmental permitting; and rural infrastructure.
KAST Construction promoted Sean Ouellette to senior vice president and division manager for its Tampa business unit, where he will oversee activities in the Southwest and Central Florida. He was previously vice president of operations.
McKim & Creed announced several recent promotions and hires. Chris Rosenboom was promoted to regional manager. In his new role, Rosenboom oversees the firm’s water, wastewater and reclaimed water engineering services in the Charlotte area. Richard Collier was promoted to regional growth manager with a focus on land planning, landscape architecture and civil/site engineering services in eastern North Carolina. Rick Moore was promoted to regional growth manager in the Wilmington, N.C, office, where he oversees civil/site engineering services. Burns & McDonnell announced that it has hired Lori Jones to lead and deliver manufacturing, industrial and commercial facilities solutions across the Southeast from the firm’s Greenville, S.C., office. She has more than 20 years of engineering, construction and business development experience. The firm also promoted Josh Hancox to lead the engineering team for its energy group in the Southeast.
JE Dunn Construction hired 15-year industry veteran David Crowell as a senior project manager in the firm’s Atlanta office. He will focus on the commercial market, including growing JE Dunn’s interiors work.
Jason Steele joined Freese and Nichols as a senior environmental scientist. Based in Winston-Salem, N.C., Steele has spent more than 13 years managing projects involving stream and wetland restoration, environmental compliance and other natural resources-related work.
Patrick Christie joined Konover South as director of construction. Christie previously served as director of project management at CBRE | Skye Group in Miami.
Neel-Schaffer announced it has hired Brent Story as director of transportation services for the firm’s Georgia operations. Prior to joining Neel-Schaffer, Story spent his entire career with the Georgia Dept. of Transportation. He brings more than three decades of diverse project experience to his new role.
