Honnen Equipment Co. has appointed Tim Stokes as the company’s new director of customer and product support. He has spent the last 18 years working in agricultural John Deere dealerships. Stokes takes over from Dean Hirt Jr., who is retiring after more than 30 years with Honnen.
PCL Construction has hired José Gómez as the new director of diversity and inclusion for the firm’s U.S. operations, based in Denver. PCL also has hired Sean Mulligan as director, mission critical. He will support business planning and focus on identifying and pursuing data center and mission critical projects.
The American Council of Engineering Cos. of Colorado recently honored Ryan Loftus of Sterling Design Associates in Littleton as the association’s Young Professional of the Year. Loftus implemented new AutoCAD and Civil3D standards at the firm, produced training manuals and conducted instructional seminars.
Christine Britton, a project engineer with JVA Inc.’s structural and historic preservation department, was recently elected president of the board of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Association for Preservation Technology. Her term will last for one year.
Joe Huff has joined CSHQA as a senior engineer 5 – mechanical in the firm’s Boise office. CSHQA also announced new and returning members to its board of directors. Scott Maloney, senior partner and founder of Crain & Co., Denver, has been selected as second outside director from the business community. Danielle Weaver, senior architect, was selected for an additional three-year term, and Gabe Caretto, financial manager, was named a new director, also for a three-year term. Returning directors are Jim Otradosky, chair; Mark Gier; Jim Marsh; Ruthie Heikkila; Jesse Goldman; and Emily Baker, founder and managing partner of Portman Square Group, Boise.
Anderson Hallas Architects has hired Chelsea Rooney as a project architect. She has a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Clemson University and a master’s degree in historic preservation with a concentration in architectural design from Columbia University.
JVA Inc. has promoted Kevin Vecchiarelli to officer, with the title of vice president, and Cody Gratny to principal. Vecchiarelli has been with the JVA civil team in the Winter Park, Colo., office since 2005. Gratny has been promoted to civil principal and Boulder civil department manager.
RTD welcomes Debra A. Johnson as its new CEO and general manager. Johnson has more than a quarter-century of leadership experience at some of the largest transit agencies in the country. Johnson is the first woman to serve as CEO in the agency’s 51-year history and takes over during a transitional year for RTD, with service changes and budget challenges brought about by the pandemic.
Sundt Construction Inc. has promoted Cade Rowley to senior vice president and Southwest and Intermountain regional manager for the firm’s transportation group. Rowley oversees heavy civil construction work throughout Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Southern California. Rodney Braegger has joined Sundt as a senior estimator in the Salt Lake City office. He comes to the firm with more than 30 years of construction experience, after working most recently as a senior estimator for a heavy civil company.
