Permitting is underway for Quadrangle Development Corp.’s 300 K St. NW Mixed-Use Building. The $70-million project, which is expected to start on April 1, would include one building 14 stories above grade and three below for a total of 367,000 sq ft. The residential tower would include 302 units and 58,000 sq ft of parking. There would also be 12,700 sq ft of retail space. American University has proposed the up to $50-million Center for Athletic Performance. The project, expected to start in December, includes a 58,000-sq-ft facility to be built on campus. Delaware
Design is underway for the YMCA of Delaware’s indoor aquatic center at the Middletown YMCA in Middletown. The $25-million project is expected to start April 1. The project includes one structural steel building two stories above grade totaling 66,000 sq ft. The 15,000-sq-ft aquatic center will tie into the existing YMCA’s outdoor pool. Millville Town Center LLC is planning the Peninsula Village Residential (Parcel E) project in the Millville by the Sea Residential Subdivision. Boston Properties has proposed the Fannie Mae at Reston Gateway project. The up to $50-million project would include 850,000 sq ft of office space leased to financial services company Fannie Mae. West Virginia
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Huntington District is planning the Lock and Dam Structural Operating Equipment Rehabilitation in Huntington. The $49-million design-bid-build project includes furnishing all labor, equipment and supervision necessary to fabricate and/or rehabilitate Huntington District’s structural operating equipment. The project’s scope includes providing rehabilitation work that may include welding structural cracks and defects, replacing bushings, machining shafts and bushings, installing sleeves on shafts, sandblasting to white metal and painting and replacing bolts on rubber seals.
