Sandra M. Parét has been named CEO of STG Design, Austin. Prior to joining STG Design, Parét was senior vice president and global commercial and corporate market sector practice director at AECOM.
Melissa Pasche has been promoted to chief financial officer at Method Architecture, Houston. Pasche has more than 15 years of experience in professional accounting, finance and operational leadership and has been with Method Architecture since 2016.
Binkley & Barfield, Houston, has appointed Harold “JR” Reddish as president. Reddish joined the firm in 2018 as chief engineer. He succeeds Larry Barfield, who has transitioned to chairman of the board.
Josh Brown has been promoted to president of Huckabee, based in the Texas firm’s Plano office. Brown has provided 18 years of leadership and innovation to Huckabee. The firm also announced numerous promotions, including the appointment of Paul Thompson as officer director of Fort Worth and Andre Brackens as office director of Dallas. Thompson and Brackens both joined Huckabee in 2014 and currently serve as principals. Seven individuals were promoted to principal: Alex Araujo and Dan Luttrell in Huckabee’s San Antonio office; Shannon Bearden, Dave Gustaf and Corrie Hood in the Fort Worth office; Joe Tremblay in the Dallas office; and Tim Barnes in the Houston office. Susan Wisa also joins the firm as a new principal.
EMJ Construction has promoted Jack Brown to vice president of construction for its Dallas-based team. Brown has more than 35 years of construction management experience and has held positions at Balfour Beatty, CBG Building Co. and BBL Construction.
JE Dunn Construction Co.’s Houston office has announced two additions to its senior team. Bernard Furlow has joined the company as vice president, and Ruben Gonzalez has joined as a senior project manager. Furlow has 30 years of architectural and construction experience, and he brings a specialty in sports arena construction to the Houston office. Gonzalez has more than 25 years of professional experience in project and program management in both the public and private sector.
Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam Inc. (LAN) has promoted Jeremy Nakashima to vice president. Nakashima, who joined LAN in 2010, leads the firm’s water and wastewater practice group. Previously, he served as a regional manager responsible for overseeing the firm’s infrastructure projects in the Midwest area.
Skanska USA has promoted Joe Lindemann to vice president of operations in North Texas, based in the firm’s Dallas-Fort Worth office. Lindemann joined the company in 1983 as a laborer and most recently served as a project executive for field operations, during which time he spearheaded the construction of the Collin College Wylie Campus project.
ForrestPerkins, Dallas, a Perkins Eastman design studio, recently announced new leadership roles. Principals Barbara Best-Santos and Colletta Conner will assume the roles and title of co-managing principal, leading the studio alongside founder and principal Deborah Lloyd Forrest.

In Dallas, Jordan Thompson was promoted to principal; Laura Crawford and Holly Jordan were promoted to associate principal; Darden Beckham, Brittany Cael and Justin Hughes were promoted to senior associate; and Rodolfo Arellano, Catherine Dalton, Bob Davis, Wes Foshee, Frances Gooding, Ariana Hallenbeck, Aarti Khatter, Jordan Mussett, Jacob Richie, Kimberly Waits and Kelsie Whittington are now associates. In Houston, Lea Anne Leatherwood was promoted to associate principal. In Austin, Lynn Petermann and Lane Green were promoted to senior associate, and Amber Harris was promoted to associate.
Carlos E. Ospina has joined Simpson Gumpertz & Heger as a principal based in the firm’s Houston office. Most recently, Ospina was a vice president in the maritime division of WSP USA.
Carlos N. Moreno has joined Perkins Eastman’s new Austin studio as associate principal. Moreno brings more than 30 years of experience in health care design, research, programming and planning.

T. Baker Smith LLC (TBS) has announced a promotion and two new hires. Jason Chauvin was named lead professional for the coastal practice in Baton Rouge. Kyle Clark has joined the firm’s environmental group in Galveston, Texas, as a senior project manager. TJ Stokes has joined TBS as lead professional, utility engineering, based in Covington, La.
Alexis Herzog has joined Gensler’s Austin office as client relationship manager. She previously led business development with Mortensen Construction in Denver and Hensel Phelps in Austin.
Atri Sen has joined WSP as Texas district water business line lead. Sen brings credentials and capabilities ranging from water/ wastewater treatment and consent decree programs to floodplain management and hydrology and hydraulics modeling to flood disaster response, recovery and mitigation planning. Lauren Taylor was promoted to planning and environmental planning lead in Austin. Taylor has expertise in NEPA and environmental regulatory compliance, transportation planning, geographic information systems and floodplain management.
Kent Cos. recently promoted Rodolfo Santillan to safety manager in its Central Texas office. Santillan leads safety programs for Austin operations. He previously served as safety coordinator.
Erin Comeaux has been promoted to project executive at Palmisano. She will lead project teams and construction partners in Palmisano’s New Orleans commercial operations department.
