James Manley has joined HNTB as a national practice leader and vice president for the consulting firm’s aviation work, based in Austin. In this role, he supports oversight and delivery of client capital improvement programs. He was senior vice president for construction management at WSP USA.
LPA, a Dallas design studio, has hired John Hoenig as managing director of structural engineering. He had been a principal in the structural department of engineering firm JQ.
Eder Garcia was promoted to vice president of operations for Arkansas-based Central States Manufacturing, where he oversees companywide plant operations for the employee-owned firm that produces metal roof and building components.
Stephanie Wilder has been promoted to vice president of sales for Hunter Buildings, based in Houston, and is responsible for marketing and sales team management and assisting in new product development.
American Structurepoint has hired Reneé Ross as Austin-based vice president and practice leader in Texas. She has 27 years of experience in engineering, project management, sales and operations and had been central division vice president at HNTB.
Sundt Construction promoted Angelica Rosales to project director based in El Paso, where she will lead business development, proposals and relationship management from preconstruction through construction. Chad Yount also has advanced to vice president and Texas operations manager for the contractor’s transportation group.
Ray Mabry has joined HBG Design in Dallas as principal-in-charge and project manager. He had been employed by HKS Architects, also based there.
Infrastructure-focused professional services firm STV announced senior Texas leadership promotions in its national water operating group. Marisa Vergara, a senior vice president, is elevated to regional director for water, based in San Antonio. She leads STV’s Texas and Oklahoma water team and also is vice chair of the Texas American Water Works Association executive board. Ryan Owen now is vice president and regional business development director, based in Austin; and Phil Cook is vice president and regional operations director for Texas and Oklahoma, based in Dallas.
Consulting firm WSP USA has hired two managers for its Texas-based operations. Jonathon Howard now is water business lead and Arti Sen is water growth leader and account manager for the city of Houston and Harris County.
Adrianna Swindle has joined architecture firm Perkins&Will as a principal and as the company’s corporate and commercial practice leader. Based in San Antonio, she had been a partner at Lake Flato Architects.
Kyle Geitner and Saeed Sabah, both civil engineers based in Houston for Hanson Professional Services Inc., earned their Texas P.E. license, the firm said.
Skanska USA Building has hired Kyle Potts as general superintendent based in Dallas-Fort Worth. He had been general superintendent for The Walsh Group in Dallas and also worked formerly as a superintendant for Austin Commercial. Mario Melendez has also joined Skanska USA as senior project manager.
