McCarthy Building Cos. has promoted Bailey Ruff to project director. Throughout her nearly 10-year tenure with McCarthy, Ruff has contributed to more than $2 billion in construction projects throughout Southern Nevada, including Allegiant Stadium, the Tropicana Parking Garage at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and the new Forensic Laboratory in Henderson, Nev. In her new capacity as project director, she will primarily focus on leading projects in the public sector.

McCarthy also recently welcomed building industry veteran Jason Fink as director of design integration for its Las Vegas office. Fink has two decades of experience in structural engineering and will work in tandem with the company’s growing design phase services team.

Jon Serfilippi has been promoted to senior project manager at McCarthy. During his 11 years with the firm, Serfilippi’s projects have included TopGolf Las Vegas, Palms Casino Resort Renovations and Circa Resort & Casino, the first ground-up resort built in downtown Las Vegas in 40 years. Serfilippi is currently overseeing the renovation of the historic El Cortez Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas.

Cade Rowley is the new president and chief operating officer at Sundt Construction. Rowley joined Sundt in 1998 as a field engineer and has served the contractor in multiple roles, most recently as president of Sundt’s Industrial Group. Current Sundt President and CEO Mike Hoover will continue to serve as CEO and chairman of the board of directors.
