The Western Stock Show Association (WSSA), in partnership with Saunders Construction, recently celebrated the topping out of The Legacy, the organization’s soon-to-be new home.
This milestone marks the placement of the final beam on the structure, symbolizing the culmination of months of effort toward creating a new state-of-the-art facility in the heart of the National Western Center. The Legacy will serve as the WSSA’s new headquarters and a vital part of the National Western Center redevelopment, with modern space for events, educational programming and community engagement.
Designed to honor the rich history of the National Western Stock Show, the building incorporates sustainable practices and energy-efficient features. The Legacy will open its doors in time for Stock Show 2026.

Arapahoe Community College celebrated the opening of the new Health Innovations Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Oct. 7. Built by Haselden Construction in partnership with Anderson Mason Dale, this project transformed the existing 1970s-era annex into health care education spaces while also adding student lounges and an elevator.
Even with the expanded capacity, the college’s programs are full, illustrating the need across Colorado for both skilled health care workers and health care career education.
The renovation and addition significantly improves Arapahoe Community College’s health care education capacity, expanding nursing classrooms from nine beds to 23. Students now have access to more hands-on learning as well as state-of-the-art technology, including a crisis simulator that can project different scenes and sounds on three walls.
allows students to immerse themselves in different environments they might encounter as they deliver care, ultimately helping them develop their skills in real world scenarios.
