The forecast is sunny for the Colorado Springs market, with growth projected for all the major construction sectors and no sign of slowing heading into 2025.
“The economic strengths of the Colorado Springs metro area continue to be available land, predictable utility costs, a business-friendly environment and AHJ support with speed to market,” Miller says. “Health care continues to be strong after the post-pandemic stabilization, and many providers are planning expansions for 2025, 2026 and beyond.”
Colorado Springs recently passed a couple of large school bond programs, and those will provide opportunities in 2025 and 2026 as well, Miller says.
“Opportunities for growth at Peak Innovation Park remain strong with activity in hospitality, aero-defense and warehousing, among others. Advanced manufacturing also seems to be making a comeback along the Front Range and Colorado Springs with companies like Entegris. With the support of the CHIPs and Science Act and a business-friendly environment, we expect to see more firms consider expansions and/or relocating here,” he says.
