Work Begins on Army Child Development Center at Fort Gordon

December 1, 2009

The Savannah District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers awarded a $7-million design-build contract to Melbourne, Fla.-based designer BRPH and Lifecycle Construction Services of Washington, D.C., for a child development center in Fort Gordon.

The project is part of a task order from an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for Army facilities in the Southeast.

The on-base child development center will support military families with day care, after care and other programs for children.
