The CU Denver Student Commons Building, designed by Anderson Mason Dale Architects, was built by Saunders Construction. It breaks the campus architecture mold while still being complementary in its use of signature materials consistent with the campus. Prominently sited at the intersection of Speer Boulevard and Larimer Street, the Student Commons serves as the downtown gateway to the campus. It was recently recognized as one of Denver’s 10 best modern buildings by Westword newspaper. This photograph was taken with a Canon EOS system camera and PC lens, with post-production work done on a Mac using Photoshop.
