LA’s strong institutional market may see changes ahead, Kelsey says, particularly in health care with new outpatient and ambulatory care facilities. He calls the K-12 market “robust,” particularly with the LA school district’s ambitious building program featuring new construction and modernization. This strength will continue as other area school systems look at bond measures and expenditures. “Higher-education clients are going through a steady but cautious period as they need to be extra thoughtful on capital expenditures,” he says.
