At 2021’s midpoint, the Raleigh construction market is “extremely hot,” says Glasgow, noting that “out-of-market developers continue to pour into the area with new opportunities.” The Raleigh-Durham area—recently picked by Apple for a new campus—continues to rank high in terms of available talent and quality of life, and “everyone wants to get in on the action,” he says. Mixed-use  and life sciences projects are leading the way, and the senior living, education and industrial markets “continue to trend positively” thanks to steady population growth.
