ENR New York’s Top Starts -- an annual ranking of the tristate region’s largest projects that broke ground last year -- is nearing completion. From the information gathered so far, 40 of the region’s biggest projects (based on contract value) have a value of at least $100 million and many – though not all – are based here in New York City.
We are in the process of confirming information about these projects and, as other contenders arise, comparing our list against those. The end result will be a list of the top 25 to be published in our March 12 issue.
Below is an alphabetical listing of those in the running, including the 13 contenders that were already announced in this blog space on January 30.
Please note, however, that since we are limiting the list to 25, it is possible that any of the projects below could be knocked off the list if we find and confirm another contract of larger value. Therefore, publication here is no guarantee of inclusion in the final rankings to be published in our March 12 print edition.
And, of course, if you think we missed a project that qualifies, let us know. Send an e-mail to ENRNY@mcgraw-hill.com with the details – including project name and location, contract value and date of ground breaking. Also include your name, company and your phone number.
