ENR New York will publish its annual ranked list of New York and New Jersey’s top construction starts in its March 30-April 6 issue. To compile the list, we’re not only referencing information from Dodge Data & Analytics, but our ongoing coverage of projects in the region.
The latest ranking, which appears below, is only a preliminary list, however. A project that is currently on the list could be bumped off if we find another of greater size or if research reveals that it does not meet all of the criteria to be included.
To ensure the list is as complete as possible, we invite you to submit notable regional projects that broke ground last year. If you think we’ve missed a project that qualifies—that is, has a total value higher than $100 million, is located in New York or New Jersey and broke ground in 2014—please do let us know.
Submit top starts nominees, including the project name, location, contract value, owner, GC/CM, date of groundbreaking/expected date of completion and your name and contact information by sending an email to carolina.worrell@construction.com.
Our next issue will provide more details on the starts, along with a feature story on this year’s soon-to-be-named Owner of the Year. Stay tuned next week for that but for now, here is an alphabetical list of the projects we’ve compiled to date, along with their locations and owners/developers.
