We at ENR Southwest are constantly concerned with construction projects — its what we do.

Most often, though, we are reporting on design, general contracting and subcontractors of all stripes who build facilities. But this blog is about our own constructing project: assembling the list of Top General Contractors for 2014.

The good news so far is that revenue totals for the general contracting firms that participated in this year’s survey have increased by nearly $500 million, coming in at roughly $6.5 billion. More details will be presented in the 2014 Top General Contractor Firms list to debut in the July 7 print edition of ENR Southwest.

This list will reveal by 2013 revenue the biggest and best general contractor firms in the Southwest and will likely top out at about 62 firms. For now, we present the firms in alphabetical order.
