Specialty contractors are specialists and professionals.
While each field and speciality is competitive, it's good practice to know the lay of the land, whether the firm specializes in concrete, carpentry, electrical or coverings. Over the next several weeks, ENR Southwest will analyze the information provided to us by firms for the specialty contractors survey. We will then publish the results — including market sectors, type of work, specialties and more — in the next issue in early September.
Right now, the survey is still open. Go here to submit a survey: http://bnpmarketresearch.com/survey/selfserve/2135/180400
In the September issue, we also will feature the Southwest region’s Specialty Contractor of the Year, as chosen by the regional editors of Engineering News Record. The selection will be announced in early August.
Until that time, we would like to identify the firms that have already submitted information for the survey. You’ll have to check back in September to see how they actually ranked this year. For questions, comments please reach me at ENRSouthwestEditor@bnpmedia.com
