Winners of our annual Top Young Professionals contest have a diverse set of skills and industry experience.

Our safety judges noted that many firms have improved not only their safety records but also their approaches to safety and their safety cultures.

The winners of this award will be announced at the Best Projects award ceremonies in Salt Lake City on Oct. 25 and in Denver on Oct. 27.

Regional Best Projects judges have honored 62 projects across the nine-state region.

Layton Construction, Salt Lake City, and Hensel Phelps Construction Co.,  Greeley, Colo. are the 2016 Contractors of the Year in the Mountain States region.

The lists are based on 2015 revenues for work on projects located in the Mountain States region.

ENR editors selected two regional design firms from several finalists for this year's top honor.

In Colorado, our choice for Owner of the Year is Colorado State University, and on the Intermountain side, we have selected Intermountain Healthcare.
