This fall Colorado State University will install a 2-mw solar power plant on the university’s Foothills Campus as part of Xcel Energy Solar Rewards program and expects to create enough solar power to meet more than 10% of the university’s energy needs.
The Regional Transportation District has assigned North Metro Engineering Project Manager Jim Starling to take over as West Corridor project manager following the recent death of the project’s previous manager, Dennis Cole.
Colorado's economy will continue to shed jobs in the third quarter of 2009 before leveling off toward the end of the year, according to Richard Wobbekind, an economist with the University of Colorado at Boulder's Leeds School of Business.
The West Corridor project is the first leg of RTD’s FasTracks program. It will create a rail corridor between downtown Denver and the Jefferson County Government Center in Golden.
