Clark Construction

In February 2013, Clark participated in Clark Construction’s design-build graduate student competition at the Associated Schools of Construction Reno, and just hours after her team’s final presentation, she received a hand-delivered offer letter from the company. After finishing her master’s degree in integrated design and construction at Auburn University, Clark worked on multiple large projects in her first year, including the $463-million Highland Hospital Acute Care project in Oakland, Calif. Today, Clark manages Clark Construction’s work at the University of California, San Diego, while also supporting projects under $50 million across Southern California.

As a leading force behind multiple workplace initiatives, Clark served on Clark Construction’s National Inclusion & Diversity Sounding Board from 2020 to 2021 to help develop the firm’s strategic inclusion and diversity roadmap. In 2021, she helped found the company’s first employee resource group, the LGBTQ+ Employee Advocacy Program. Since 2018, Clark has also been committed to developing fellow employees through mentorship and training programs.

In every location she has worked, Clark has found time to give back to local charities, from the Boys and Girls Club in San Francisco, to Mary’s Place in Seattle, to the San Diego Rescue Mission.
