Adam has trained computers to anticipate design decisions; deployed a city-scale acoustic sensor network; and oversees the development of Hermes, a system for real-time exchange of data across disciplines, locations and design applications. Adam studied Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania and Computational Design at UCL. He joined Foster+Partners in 2006. He has contributed to the design and analysis of master plans globally. He has taught parametric and computational design at numerous schools, has written articles for Architectural Design and has been published in the proceedings of ACADIA, Simulation in Architecture and Urban Design, and the Space Syntax Symposium.
